I woke up this morning (late, since my PPC alarm didn't go off) to find a memory error on my Dell Axim X50. It told me to press the Contacts button to attempt to fix the problem. When this didn't work (after several tries), I had to do a hard reset.
I restored my system from a backup in built-in storage -- the backup was about ten days old. When I connected my Axim to the laptop, it synched and wiped out all of the Outlook appointments I had created since that restore point ten days ago.
In the future, how do I prevent this from happening? How do I preserve Outlook data when synching a restored image? (And, yes, I know that one solution is to do more frequent backups -- that lesson has been learned!)
I have a lot of phone calls ot make now to remember all the appointments I had for the next couple of weeks...
