Hi everybody,

I am new to the ppc, and have started out with an ipaq hx2755. I am connecting to Outlook 2003 SP1, which connects to my work's exchange server. I've also downloaded and installed Active Sync 3.8.

What keeps happening is that my calendar items are synchronized over to my ppc, but the times are wrong; mostly, items will be marked as all day events instead of the times I set them for. Sometimes, I'll see an event that is scheduled for one day later or sooner on the ipaq. Outlook always looks correct.

I've performed a hard reset on my ipaq numerous times (maybe 5 times now), and I used a program called scanpst.exe to fix my outlook.pst file. It found errors & fixed them, but it didn't solve my sync problem above (and further scans produce no errors).

Naturally, I bought the ipaq primarily for the calendar function!

Anyway, I'm pretty mystified. I'd love it if someone could offer some suggestions that I haven't thought of...

Thanks!

See if the daylight savings time settings are the same. I can't recall everything about this, but I had a similiar problem and it turned out to be the time settings.

Make sure the desktop host computer and your device are set to the same time zone and the same regional settings.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Being new to Windows as well as the ipaq, I'm going to outline how I'm checking, in case I'm doing it wrong:

PC: Control Panel: Regional & Language Options (it's set to English (United States)). Under Date & Time, it's set for GMT-08 Pacific Time.

PPC: Settings, Regional Settings: English (United States).
Clock & Alarms: GMT-8 Pacific US

It looks to me like everything is set correctly, but if something looks wrong, or if you have any other ideas, they're welcome!

Thanks for the help!
