My ActiveSync session went straight into 'Guest'??

Everything was working until noon today, I got some sort of error message which I simply clicked OK to clear. After that, each time when I connect the cable, the ActiveSync window would connect, flashes my Axim partnership name for a fraction of a second, and then changes to 'Guest'.

So far, I have deleted the original partnership and re-established a new partnership. It works upon connection, but as soon as I disconnect the cable and re-connect, the connection goes into 'Guest' again.

Any thoughts on this weird behavior??

Were you able to fix this? One thing I'd try is open Activesync and uncheck everything in the list (calendar, contacts, etc) With everything unchecked, soft reset your device and try to sync again. It may then sync as the right partnership. If so from then you can add back the sync options one at a time.
