i have my outlook set to check my pop account every 2 min and it isnt doing it . i find myself clicking send/recieve. anyone else having the same problems ?

well outlook on the pda not to sync with my home computer. i setup pop3 on my pda for an email address i have and the messaging program wont check my mail for me like its supposed to.

i have wireless sync on now and seems to be working... but i dont know if i trust it yet hehe...

ok now it isnt working with wireless sync on. it will not connect on its own still. if i do wireless sync it just works on the outlook account . not my pop accounts i added.any ideas or other email programout there?

I got it working this weekend. It wasn't easy setting it up - for one thing, the client-side software wasn't visible on my i730, so I had to download the software from Verizon and re-install it manually.

Your best bet is to call Vz tech support and let them trouble shoot it with you on the phone.

im srrartin to think that the phone has to be on wwhen it gets to its cheecking intervals. i had it set at check mail every 15 min and i chaned it to every 5 min cuz i usually use it that long. or.... there maybe has to be a current connection ?

I may wrong about this, but I don't think that the interval you have set in the built-in pocket outlook messaging application has anything to do with the frequency with which the "wireless sync" application actually checks for new mail.

i dont want wireless sync checking the mail.in options of the pocket outlook email setup, you can choose when the intervals are. but it doesnt work like its supposed to. it bugs me cuz i dont want to have to click send recieve everytime i wantto check mail. my sidekick phone checked for me lol
