Dell Axim X50v or Hp Rx3715

I am trying to choose between these two pocket pc's. I know that the Dell probably is the better choice(because of WM5, VGA, graphics,ectc), but I wish the Dell had a camera like the 3715.

Go with the Dell.

I got bitten by the File Store bug on the RX3715 (you never think it will happen to you), and I've regretted not getting VGA soon after my purchase. The camera on the rx3715 is really sub standard, and only works in the best of lighting conditions. (My Clie NX80 had a much better camera.) The screen is nice, though. It's nice and bright and readable outside. I haven't seen the X50v screen personally but have heard it's less contrasty. (I'd still go with the Axim because of the VGA, WM 5 upgrade, file store problems with the rx3715, etc.)

I have them both and the 3715 is more fun, but the X50 really has it on features and future upgrades. So get the Dell
I wish the Dell had a camera like the 3715.

There is always the Loox720... or and I say this just to include it... the Asus a730w.

I'm with the others - go with the X50v. Having used both before, I find the X50v has more bang for your buck. It has a VGA screen, which the rx3715 lacks, and the X50v will also be receiving the Windows Mobile 5.0 upgrade, which again, the rx3715 will not.

The less-contrasty appearance of the X50v is negligible, and you'll still find it to be quite good. Besides, there's a Contrast tweak you can apply which will help cure it of any unwanted effects.

Get the VGA Dell X50v man. Plus, last I read, was that Dell was gioving a freen WM5 upgrade to those who buyt a X50v. May have passed already but not sure.
