Try the insanely addictive SuDoku game from Mastersoft Mobile Solutions now by downloading the Beta 1. All testers that post useful feedback will receive a free copy (most prolific testers will also feature in the credits). SuDoku has taken the World by storm! So what does it involve? Simply fill in the grid with the numbers 1 to 9 without repeating in either a column, row or 3x3 grid. Sounds easy doesn't it? SuDoku Master comes with at over one million puzzles built in. No puzzle is ever repeated. Enjoy the Beta but be sure to take plenty of breaks."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/SuDokuAlpha2.jpg" /><br /><br />If you're into puzzle games, this looks like the motherload. Mastersoft is looking for beta testers, so drop by if you want to get a first look at SuDoku.

Looks cool - they are "between versions" right now, so I cannot download the beta to try it out. Will check again through the weekend.

And for a freeware alternative if you can't wait for the greater functionality you could try this:

Forget freeware. You can get this free with any new iPAQ or just by helping test it :)
Here's a new shot ... you won't have to wait very long :)

Funny that this great little brain teaser is just coming into its own now.
I remember doing these many many moons ago. They have even started to appear in one of New Zealand's primary newspapers. I noticed that Handango offers software to help you figure these out. What's the fun in that? I would much rather pull my hair out, and curse like a sailor at the puzzle than get help. :D

Sorry we only take credit cards but really, get hooked whilst testing with us and it's FREE. For the FULL version. We have to charge as otherwise the pups go hungry :(

The freeware version isn't bad. Simplicity is what the game is all about and all you need is the grid and the number generator to play.

But the commercial version looks fun, so I wish the creator luck and look forward to downloading it myself in the future.

Downloaded the software today (Beta 2) and spent an enjoyable couple of hours playing. For some reason it doesn't give me a SoDuko rating after each game, only my score, so will have to let the author's know that.

Haven't tried the flags - that must be a nightmare! I'm using a JAM so the small screen is fine for numbers, but pictures are VERY tricky.

Flags have gone in Beta 3. It's a unique take on SuDoku (original ideas are what we do best) but ... it didn't work LOL
However .... we found a way round it :D Check out 'Summer's Here' in Beta 3. The first 100 Testers who submit useful feedback get the FULL Retail version. Check credits for each Beta. If your name is there then you get the freebie ....
PS Some freeware is great ! I used Calendar Plus for years (now Pocket Breeze and even better (10 x better to be fair but then it is commercial now)).

Hopefully you'll consider this 'useful' enough... web site has many links that aren't working (such as the link to the forum...) and I couldn't find the link to the program... perhaps because of the broken pages...

Hello, you need to log into support as it is only available to registered users but there is no fee and it takes just a few seconds.
