This neat device runs Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition (Phone Edition) and features a remote digital TV tuner (the MSM5500 / Toshiba C2). It also has a 2.5" QVGA screen, a 1.3MP digital camera, a miniSD slot, 64MB RAM and 578MB ROM (yes, you read that correctly)! Compatible with CDMA2000 1x EV-DO, it's suffice to say that this device rates highly on anyone's geek-o-meter! Pity though - I doubt those of us living outside of Korea will lay eyes on this anytime soon. Doh!

Crazy amount of ROM! Cool it has a TV tuner, but a 2.5" screen? That's just too tiny - almost a third of an inch smaller than the screen on an Imate JAM.

I think that all that ROM is for WM5. Memory is never enough. It sould have 4 Gb instead!

Whenever a company goes to the extra expense of giving you two batteries, that's never a good sign for battery life :D

The Samsung SPH-i700 did that, with the slim and fat battery. And, yes, believe me, it was used.

What's comforting to us GSM/GPRS users that won't get this device is that CDMA carriers such as Verizon Wireless will never take on a device like that, nor accept it willingly on their network. At least there's some good to their closed door policy and closemindedness on their devices and their customers. All us GSM/GPRS users have to worry about is that is has the right band in our area, it's not SIM-locked (unlikely), and that it is in English. All we have to do at that point is pop in the SIM card.

Sorry if I sound bitter, but I'm a happy Verizon Wireless defector after the mismanaged SPH-i700 and the full Bluetooth-denied V710.

578MB ROM

I'm thinking the version of Windows Mobile after WM5 will have a Windows Update mechanism? But then, this device is WM2003SE and unless SK Telecom will provide several generations of upgrades...

POZ B300 user can save DMB contents(movie,TV,Radio, music, news etc.) in NAND Flash Memory(512MB).
That is why B300 has 576MB ROM.
