Have been using a Treo 600 since I jumped ship from the Samsung i600. The Treo is a nice unit but . . . dang it I miss Windows Mobile. It looks like the Samsung i730 is going to be too pricey so I snatched up an Audiovox XV6600 for $225. Seemed like a good deal and an inexpensive way to get me back where I belong :mrgreen:

Well apparently I'm not. The seller has refused to sell me the item even though I won her auction :cry: So I jumped the gun. Not back to the light side . . . yet.

I had that happen once. I had the winning bid of $32 on a 512Mb SD, and in the last few minutes the seller ended the auction. I can tell you I was p1ssed.

eBay needs to make it that you can't end the auction in the last 6 hours. Its unfair that they can in the last 10mins.

Just leave them neg feedback, and say in it that they wouldn't sell to you because you got a good deal.

Except that she didn't end the auction early. She sent me an email approx. 30 minutes after the auction ended telling me the item was no longer available and sorry for the inconvenience. Yeah right :roll:
You better believe I left VERY negative feedback and reported her as a 'non selling seller'. I was really pumped about getting this phone *sigh*

If at first you don't succeed . . . I've bought another one. Not nearly as good a price (but less then Verizon wants for it) but it's brand new still in sealed box w/camera. Speaking of the camera I've heard the units with them seem to have more problems. Can anyone verify that and what problems? Thanks.

So far so good. I just got ahold of ROM 2.03 and upgraded the phone to it without a hitch. This ROM (while not authorized) gives me a seperate network icon now, additional settings (outgoing) for messaging and of course WMplayer 10. I also am REALLY enjoying the hack I posted for the disconnect option. So far the size hasn't bothered me and I like the bigger screen.

Hows the keyboard? I miss the keyboard from my 4355. I used my PDA for MSN a lot when I had my 4355, because the keyboard was sooooo much better than onscreen.

To be honest I don't use it. I find I'm fast enough using the on-screen keyboard for emails and messaging.
