Activesync wont sync email but says it does!

My activesync ( the one before ver 4.0) is working fine, syncs everything including outlook tasks, calendar etc. But recently it wont sync my outlook mail to my PPC even though it always says sync complete and reports no errors.
Inbox sync IS selected but the new email does not show up on my PPC.
My PPC activesync inbox simply shows no emails at all!
even when I try things the other way round, create a new mail and stuff it in the actvesync inbox on my device, it does not showup in outlook
HELP!

I think on ur outlook u don't have all the mails in ur main folder.
If you have subfolders of ur inbox and u have mails in ur subfolders than : -

in activesync > inbox > settings > check the boxes for the inbox subfolders.
Also check in the settings of the inbox what is the criteria u have given to sync.
