View Full Version : iPAQ seems frozen

I recently bought a used iPAQ 1945 from a friend who rarely used it. I bought it to listen to OverDrive Audio books, but after a few days of use the iPAQ will not respond to screen taps, button clicks or anything. It does turn on, but that's it. It is fully charged. Is there a way I can do a reset or otherwise get it working properly again? Also, is there a way I can avoid having this happen again?

Thanks.

Aside from trying the reset button (somewhere on the device), I might let the battery run down completely to see if that resets it (will take several days unless the screen will turn on). Unfortunately, without knowing what caused it to lock up in the first place, it would be hard to offer suggestions to prevent it from happening in the future. Sorry.

I believe the reset hole is located on the left hand edge of the unit.

I found it. Everything seems to be working okay now. At least now that I've figured out which model it is I can hopefully download a user guide and stop asking stupid questions. Thanks for the help.
