I put the trial on my 6601....... I used to have WB on all my previous devices.
My only complaint thus far is that hte Start menu is really, really slow after you tap it.
Other than that it is pretty great.

That's actually configurable. Just go into the start menu settings and do the following:

1) Turn on "cache program icons on startup"
2) Turn off "Don't cache background images"

Those two settings should greatly speed up your start menu.

Thanks - Those were some great links with some fresh VGA stuff. I just got a new Dell X50V so I'm really looking for some nice VGA skins

Yeah I've been using it for years and it is really great but it seems that there is a problem there somewhere since the repainting of my X50V screen is also pretty slow including the menu dropdown.

I only have my X50V 1-1/2 months so I figured that I didn't have something configured correctly and I'll fix it over time. Setting up the pda might still be the problem and not the software though.

my start menu is really slow the first time i tap it after i change something in the today settings or do a soft reset. after that, it has a chance to cache the things ive told it to in settings. but its reaaaaly slow the first time.

also, occasionally, the expanded menus under 'settings' dont function correctly.

not exactly asking for help, just posting

Fixed

The Wisbar forums are really active and this is one of the problems mentions. I found a solution in under 5 minutes 8O . Anyway there are a bazzillion settings for Wisbar. It seems that caching menu icons are not a default setting so just turn it on and presto no delay in the dropdown 8) .

You should go there to just read some of the posts they're pretty interesting. Nice community.

Yeah, I like that one quit a bit and use it often but if I finally got a X50V VGA PPC I just gotta have me a VGA skin. If I'm going to show off my new dell VGA to the other guys (yeah so I'm showing off) I gotta have a PPCThoughs VGA skin because they all know how much I'm in love with this forum. If I pull out my Dell with a Qvga skin I'll be laughed out of town.
