How to backup my sms

Hi,

I need to format my pocket pc therefore need to only back up my sms as i did backup my contacts, can anyone give me a tip on how to save or backup my sms please.

What kind of Pocket PC is it?

There should be a way to backup your device using ActiveSync if you can connect it to a desktop PC.

It is likely that your Pocket PC came with a built in backup utility to backup to external storage.

If you know where the SMS data is stored on your pocket PC you could just back it up manually by copying it to some removable storage or to your desktop PC through ActiveSync.
