PDA for anywhere email

I wasn't sure where to put this, so I figured the general would make a nice catch all.

Well my Dad needs something for work to get email, and he was looking at PPC's. I'm not too sure what to do for email though. I know there are aircards.. or ppc phones.

I do know that his IT person loathes Blackberry's, and I want to steer him clear of the path of the palm.

so any suggestions on PPC's and accesories to fit the need would be nice.

What sort of connectivity is available to him? Most half-way decent PPCs these days have Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth which can give them access to a network or a network-connected device and thus access to email.


Or he could look towards a PPC phone ...


If he can wait until Windows Mobile 5 devices are available it has better MS Exchange integration, if my mouldy old memory chip serves my correctly ...
