Suggestions for creating screenshot animated GIF for product demo

What the best tool for creating those animated screenshots that flip every few seconds to a different view of the product?

Do you have Photoshop lying around? I tend to use that, although if you're after a free graphic solution, try GIMP. (http://www.gimp.org/windows/)

What you need to do is create a few screenshots, and then combine them together by making each screenshot a "frame". From there, you can designate how long you want each frame to show (e.g. 0.5 seconds, 1 second, etc.). After that, you can save it as an animated GIF.

I still use the Microsoft GIF Animator (http://www.keyscreen.com/KeyScreen(s)6/MicroGIFanimator.htm) to create animated GIFs although I often use GIMP (http://www.gimp.org) to create images.
