IPAQ Upgrade Downgrades Calculator

I have an IPAQ 2210. After my ROM upgrade to ver 1.10, my version of Caculator with currency conversion was replaced with an older version of the Calculator without the currency convertor.

Called HP Support. They were at a lost and could not help me.

I can copy a version of Calc from my Jornada 568 (after renaming it) but it seems to run in the background with no "skin".

I am unable to delete calc that came with the upgrade.

Can anyone help?

You can't delete the calc that came with the upgrade as it is in ROM. It was fairly universally agreed the currency conversion in the 'new' calculator sucked, as it did not retain any current rates on a soft reset, and there was no way to get rates automatically when connected.

There are tones of calculators out there much better than the standard four banger. Many options even for currency calcs that update whenever you get an internet conection.
