Pocket PC Help

I'm new to the boards and interested in purchasing a pocket PC. I currently have a Palm V but am interested in a Windows based handheld. I am a college student and interning at a medium sized company. I am currently looking at the Dell Axim X30 however, a new one is out of my price range. Can anyone help me find a PDA that is adequate for my needs (CPU speed, memory, etc.) yet won't drain my wallet? Wireless connectivity is a must (for email).

I am also curious as to how PDA's handle web browsing (frames, resolution, images, etc...)
