System Bar icons

I'd like to put some icons on the system bar - I believe that's the correct name! The grey one at the bottom of the screen that you can see when viewing 'today'.

For instance, I'd like to put an icon on the bar that rotates the screen, I currently have to use the SPB tools to do this from a submenu on the today sreen which means minimising the current app. If there was a shortcut on the system bar I could just click that.

I know it can be done as my colleague has a few icons on his system bar.

SPB Plus will let you add Rotate to the dropdown that can be accessed from the X on any screen.

For the general answer you'd be better off in a developer forum.

You can do it with SKMenu for example.
