I just got back from the midnight showing of Star Wars III and I must say that I am impressed. I am wondering what others think of this third installment. Did you enjoy it or where you disappointed?

I was pretty good. Definitely one of the top four ;)
There were a couple parts where I just rolled my eyes, but I won't say anything since it might involve a spoiler.

A couple of minor flaws, but I have to say, it was pretty good.
It was like a trip back to the 70s when everything starting blending in with Episode 4. :)

I *just* got back from seeing it as well. I agree with the sentiments here; it was well done save for a couple of minor nits.

It definitely rocked. Before the movie, I was surprised to see the press screening MSN critics give it 2.5 stars.

Rubbish.
Stupid dialogue ....
"How did that happen, we're smarter than that?"
"It's not fair, I wanna be a Master!"<sniffle>
"He's got to be kept alive so he can be tried, killing him is not the Jadi way. Oh, what have I done. I pledge myself to the Dark Side"
Terrible character, robot and animal animations - they should speak to Pixar or Dreamworks!
Was that really an animated/overlaid baby?
Far far too many "oh come on !" moments.

I would have seen more of Jar Jar Binks than Hayden Christensen as the wholly unconvincing Anakin/Vader.
Good movie, but Hayden's immature ****ty acting takes a toll on the overall quality. I'll never understand how he got that part. He looks like a gay Backstreet Boy and has the acting ability of a turnip.
Don't Panic!

I still haven't seen it yet.

Save your money, unless you are a fan.
Although ... maybe you'll enjoy it. Seems like only a small number of people are bothered by how bad it is and how full of holes it is ...

BAH!
The first one ("A New Hope") was the best one... the most exciting, hands down, and the only one that stood on its own. All others paled.
