Test Internet Speed on PPC

Is there a way to get an accurate reading of the kb/sec speed while downloading on a Pocket PC? I'm just curious to see how fast my phone's internet is going.. I know ThunderHawk displays the kb/sec, but my subscription expired and I don't want to have to pay for a subscription again because I have a VGA PPC now. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!

I'm confused. If a 124 kbps is excellent, how am I getting 500 kbps from one site and 636 from another site (from the links above)? I am using my Ipaq 4150 and according to these results, it is even faster than my pc.

I'm guessing that you're using wifi, correct? They're using a cellular connection, which is much slower, but getting better.

Plus some are more accurate than others. Some site transfer more data which should give a more reliable reading. As well you need to take several readings and average then together. Doing just one or two tests does not give an accurate read. Also you need to clear your cashe as well.

The texan.net one is pretty deceiving when you don't clear your cache. It told me once I was getting a solid fiber-quality connection :) Of course this graph below was the saddest BW reading I ever got, when I was using my Motorola v70 over a standard cellular line (not GPRS) for data:
