PWI file format

Does anybody know where I can get the specification for the PWI file format?

There are various Microsoft articles that explain how to convert PWI files using ActiveSync DLL's but they do not give access to graphics or sound bytes, so I need to decode the file myself.

The format is not documented. You can use the RichInk control to display the contents of PWI files, I also believe that a desktop version of the richink control is included with ActiveSync in order to support the outlook notes sync, but I've never tried programming with it.
