pocket pc always turns itslef on while in cradle!?!

hi guys!

it seems that no matter what i do (power off it before, power off while docking, disable all programs..) my pocket pc randonmy powers itself on while on the cradle and stays on (even though i defined to "turn off device if not used in 3 minutes in settings!). can anyone tell me how to make sure it stays OFF when its in the cradle?

Check the sync schedule and make sure it is set to manual. Also check your Inbox/Messaging accounts to see if one is set to check for mail every X minutes. In either case, your device will recognize the cradle insertion as a connection and try to carry out the automatic sync or email checks as it it set to do. It may be another app that is set to go online for checks, but AS and Inbox are the two most common since their default settings are to do so.

I would guess the reason you want to do this is to have it only charge. You could either plug your power directly into the PocketPC (out of the cradle), or unplug the sync cable to the cradle at those times.
