Problem while sending mail ... hp 3955

Hey,
whenever i try to send mail i get this error...
Messages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device. Make sure you are connected and that your e-mail service settings are correct. Then, try to download messages again.
i am using HP 3955 ... i have setup imap account
incoming: mail.atrocions.com
outgoing: mail.atrocions.com
outgoing authentication required is checked.
i can recieve mails but when i try sending mail i get this error... i installed all the updates i could find at compaq.com ...

this is the one that i have installed... could anyone help me out with this issue?
One more thing ... these settings work perfect when i use them on my desktop pc... i have same settings there.... and its working there... but on ipaq it aint

Are you using the same ISP on your desktop and iPaq? Some ISPs won't allow email sending except if you're using their smtp server.

yeh i am using same isp.. same router... and both are on a wireless connection
