Hi there. I'm really hoping someone can help me out. I realize this is my first post, but I'm really not a total moron.

I'm trying to get on the net with my e355 (PPC 2003) using my Motorola v710 cell phone (Verizon). I have all the cables needed to connect the two...the Toshiba USB host cable and the USB data cable for the v710.

When I plug the phone into the PDA it asks for a driver. This is the hard part.

Is there such a driver?

I have been searching EVERYWHERE (Motorola, Toshiba, Google, various forums...) with no luck at all. I can't believe how hard this has been. I can feel my hair turning grey as I type!

Does anyone know how to get these two working together?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! PLEASE!

Thanks :confused totally::confused totally::confused totally:

You're correct, I just didn't want to spend close to $100 for the BT card if I didn't have to. The e355 is hardly even worth $100 itself...!

But thanks for the tip.

There may be no driver I'm afraid, this seems very unlikely to me.

I'd go for giving IrDA a try - Is there an IrDA port on your phone?
It is very easy to set up.

This may or may not be of help.

As far as I can tell this software allows you to creat a serial connection through the USB host port. you might be able to set the V710 to serial but who knows?

An article here says no.
