For any guys that have played with the guts of an ipaq......
I have a 1935 I bought broken to fix. I can buy a main board for 55$ but I might as well ask anyone with experience....
This unit does not power on at all. When the adapter/charger is plugged into the wall and to the ipaq, I get no power running to the main battery terminals and no lights. Everything seems to be in great physical condition.
I saw no surface mount fuses but I am hoping I missed it. Is there one?
Does it matter if the tiny memory battery is dead?
Does it matter if the main battery is dead and non-chargable?
That one zenor diode, is that a common culprit? And if so, what is the voltage rating of it?
And any other thoughts?....
Thx,
Josh
