i.Tech has released the world’s first wireless laser keyboard.
The new Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard is similar to other laser keyboards available on the market but in contrast to them uses Bluetooth 1.1 short-range wireless networking to connect to compatible devices. Yet it’s that very pocketsize device that projects a full-size keyboard through infrared technology onto any flat surface.
The novelty supports a wide variety of platforms, including Palm OS, Pocket PC, and Windows PC. Its built-in battery allows up to 2 hours of continuous typing.
The BTVKB/serial is now available in :
www.virtual-laser-keyboard.com for US$199.99/$224.99
Additional information can be found here.
A similar keyboard is soon expected from another company called Celluon.
