The only downside is that there's no trial version available yet. [Affiliate]

Cooks Looks like a useful app if you only have a few albums.

The ability to import a library would be a must have for me.

And I only have 7GB.

.....but it doesn't work!
What I mean is that I can't start the program. I get an Exception when starting the program (it has to do with NET CF). Soft reset or reinstall didn't help. I have sent a support request so now I have to wait and see what happens....
I must say that an import function would be useful and I've been looking for such a program but they don't look very good so I thought I give this little program a try. Too bad it doesn't work... :(

Just out of interest, which version of the .NET CF do you have installed?

Hi Darius,
On my desktop I have NET Framework 1.1 but on my MDA II, I didn't have to install anything because it is already on it. I can't find it in my software list but I use another program which uses NET CF and works fine. I do have VB Runtimes installed. Is that the same?
During installation of MusiGanizer, Microsoft ADO CE 3.1 was installed also. It had a lot of dll's which were much older than the one already on my MDA II (on my MDA II they were from 2003. The ones it was trying to install were from 2001). So I didn't overwrite those. Maybe that was the problem? But I don't want to mess up my other programs.

Two different things.

Head over to Microsoft and download the .NET CF SP3. I'm not sure if that will fix anything since it's hard to say if the reasoning behind your current problem is based on .NET, but SP3 does fix a few bugs. It's worth a shot.

:(
Nope, that didn't help.
I even uninstalled MusiGanizer and ADO CE 3.1 and did a soft reset to reinstall. Then it gave a hard reset  !!
Luckely I back up often....
But still....
I keep this forum posted.

:D
Well the program is working now. I got support and they sent me a new version which does work.
Takes a bit long to open the program but there is a CSV import function.
Further the program looks nice. You can put in all kind of media. You can give your album a rating which is nice because I sometimes forget that some albums realy suck!
From every album you can put in the songs and length of the song. Also when, were and for how much you bought it.
There is even a reminder function for media which you lent out.
One big miss: You can't copy and paste in the fields  This I realy miss.

Is there some mechanism for a batch import? Surely we can't be expected to enter thousands of songs individually.
