I purchased by first PDA August last year, and my boss bought one shortly after. (both the same- IPAQ 2210)
Ever since then, I have been exploring the possibilities, (and spending more than I care to add up) and showing him various programs I thought may be of some interest or use to him. But he has been sitting on the plain vanilla PDA.
This weekend, I finally got around to trying PhatPad.... I installed the trial, spent five minutes playing and then paid up.
I showed the boss today, and again, within 5 minutes, he had gone on-line and bought it too.
Woo-hoo!

:D Great story! I wish my coworkers were as interested in PPCs as I am! I too bought PhatPad pretty much immediately after playing with it - even though my notes usage isn't heavy right now, if I ever need to jot down a quick note I wouldn't use any other program

Crikey. I read the Subject line of this thread and thought, "Whoa... some dude's trying to kill his boss."
But I'll also check out PhatPad. For me. Not my boss.
(BTW I'm also in Melbourne, and looking forward to a pleasant 29 degrees today)

OT, but.....
What I would not give for a 29 degree day - boy do I miss the weather in Oz!

Interesting. My girlfriend is currently sitting on a plain vanilla HP2210 which I gave her after upgrading. Perhaps I should try demo-ing PhatPad.
I'm a PhatNotes user myself. But anything to get her to use it more.

I have generally avoided note-taking apps like PhatPad since I have found them to be overly-complex and slower than just using a pen and paper. After reading this thread I tried PhatPad last night and registered it today. :) It really is very good and the accurate relationship between what you write on the screen appearing in the note is way better than when I last tried this sort of thing back in my Palm days.
