Just curious... what do you mean by lack of support for USB keyboards? Legacy PPC that has USB keyboards like Casio, Toshiba, etc has full support for those USB keyboards. I have to admit that I'm having problem with my ASUS A730W with some USB keyboards but found that there are still keyboards that work. I even found out only lately that there's a USB thumboard that I can use (havent announced yet on my site... just making sure this other [Dreamgear's mini key] will work like the first one [Nyko's iType2]).

PS. BTW, no pun intended for calling other PPC as Legacy PPC. I know those are still going strong. ;-)

Meaning the switch lacks a USB port, and can only accept PS/2 keyboards.

If this uses the "keyboard combo switch" to switch devices the keyboard is connected to (ie, my Cybex KVM switch uses ctrl-ctrl-A to switch to the machine connected to the first port on the switch, ctrl-ctrl-B to connect to the second...) I'd say that Trancreative's Remote Keyboard (http://www.trancreative.com/rkb.aspx) is s far better deal unless you plan to spend a good chunk of time using your desktop keyboard with your PPC when the desktop is turned off.

Could you not just use one of those little USB-PS2 converters that comes with a lot of keyboards :?:
