Now there was a blast from the past! Would you believe that it has been over three years since I reviewed an E&B case? Obviously it was time to get reacquainted with the new incarnation of an old friend, the Slipper PAQ 4700. This latest Slipper case is available with or without a belt-clip and in blue, black or brown smooth Nappa cowhide. At my request, I was sent the black version sans belt-clip."

As is the problem with many cases, you cannot use the cradle with this case in place, though the charging cable works fine. The case is $40.95 and available in black or brown. If you have been looking for a case for your 4700, you should take a look at this review.

Also for the Axim. I hunted around for a slipper case in the design I wanted (good corner protection, flat magnetic closures) and E&B Products had it. The quality of the EB Copilot 3 I've had for years for my Palm Tungsten is excellent so I had no hesitation in ordering an Axim X50 case (http://www.ebcases.com/Detail.bok?no=3312) from them, and it was duly despatched Downunder same day. Delighted with it. And any colour I wanted, so long as it was black...

Definitely a case to consider. I have a Krussel case I won off Ebay. In a word: JUNK. The bulges and gap around the screen are just something I have had to live with. What do you want for $20? But $40 is a bit steep for me since I have been out of work 7 weeks now. And for those who have seen my previous posts, I own one of the most underused Ipaqs...used for addresses, contacts and a Bible devotionals each day. Other than the occasional checking of the temperature with Weather to Go, I just don't use it. :<.

Pretty sad to spend $650 + extended warranty for this.

This is my second case from EB. My first was for my Palm and then I bought one for my Axim X5. They are good cases with a good design and build quality. You can not go wrong for the price.
