Hello,
I been trying to add new Themes to my Sprint PPC 6600 (aka Seimens SX66 & AudioVox 6600), but the Start Menu Text is always white. When looking at the Themes on www.pocketpcthemes.com or creating them from Flash Themes the text is black. Does anybody know how to resolve this?

Thanks

It is a bug in WM2003. My ipaq 1930, 2210 and 4355 all had the problem and so does my mini.

There is some kind of registry hack, but I don't remember it. Do a search on google for it.

You've got two options.

(1) Create a theme which confers support for variable start menu text colours (ThemeMaker McDeb can do this), or

(2) Get a hold of a registry editor such as PHM Registry Editor, and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color. Create a new binary value called 39, and enter in the respective hexadecimal colour code, followed by 00. So black would be 00 00 00 00, white would be FF FF FF 00, and so on.

Matt over at pocketpclouisville.com pointed me to a program called "tk creator" I believe it is made by funny snake and it allows you to change these settings in the theme and save them with the changes. I didn't want to mess with the registry so this works great for me. Oh and did I mention it is free.
