Hello.
I've just uninstalled a piece of software, but it left the icon in the Programs menu. I tried everything I could to get rid of it, to no avail.
I tried reinstalling the software to uninstall again (with me? ;)), but now I'm left with TWO icons. It doesn't interfere with anything as such, but I have two useless icons cluttering up my programs file.
Any advice.
Thanks

This is a problem that happens to all of us at one time or another. I don't have my PPC with me right now but I'll try to remember the basic steps.

Open up File Explorer on your PPC, then open the Windows directory, followed by Start Menu and Programs. You should see the shortcuts/icons in there, delete the offending icons by doing a hold-tap on them and selecting "delete".

Hope this helps! Welcome to Pocket PC Thoughts, by the way! :D
