The .NET Compact Framework, in the vast majority of cases, is fast enough. I know this because I've seen lots of complex applications running on the platform that are scalable and snappy."</i><br /><br />Microsoft's Mike Zintel reveals some interesting performance statistics comparing .NETCF v1.0 with the upcoming v2.0 release due later this year. the weak point of .netcf is the application load performance.after installing sp3, applications load faster.
i am sure that by the time .netcf version 2 released, with the aid of smart device framework we will be able to deploy killer applications with ease
