I am a little frustrated. I am unable to use the IE while at work. Work has a ‘minimal support policy’ for PDA’s so I can’t get any technical help. I am certain I need to use a proxy server, I have tried a couple, but seem to get blocked out. Can a firewall recognize IE through activesync and block it?
Another option - what is the cheapest way to get my PPC (ipaq h3700 w/ cf card expansion sleeve) hooked up to internet, without using activesync on my work PC?
Thanks!

Yes, it seems it's the problem. Check out http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/activesync/firewallproxy.htm#Firewall%20and%20Proxy%20Issues

This still doesn't help me. Option 1 is the only one that looks promising, but there is no way I will ever do anything with the proxy
Now what should I try????

I see 3 options:
1- Tweaks2k2 let's you change how some appz see your browser, at least Netfront, i don't remember if it's possible with PIE, but it's worth trying.
2- Netfront, even though they say is not totally compatible, it works great in my rx3715, I really recommend this browser.
3- Avantgo offers a browser, dunno if it will owrk, but it's free so nothing lost trying.
