I had to download a VPN client to use the wireless internet at school. Once I did, it quit picking up the signals from the coffee shops with free wyfi. The little icon at the top of the screen shows that it is picking up the signal (the two arrows are there with no "x"), but when I tap it, it says it can't connect with the current settings. If I hit "settings" and look for connections, "WSU VPN" (my school) is the only one listed. I can't get it to show the coffee shop. I've tried at two different places with free wyfi and no luck. Any suggestions?
If it comes down to it and I have to do a hard reset, will I have to reinstall programs that are installed to my SD card?

Go to Connections/Advanced/Select Networks. In the two drop-down menus, choose the 'old' network your Wi-Fi used: either My ISP or My Work Network (or, possibly, a third/fortuh one). Press OK and try to reconnect.

I've tried all of them to no avail.
