I'm using a 4150 and notice that there is some gap.. quite big between the touch screen and the front case. Not sure why this is happening.. mayb i pressed the touch screen too hard till it went inside abit and there is a gap now. only the bottom part having this problem. the other three side is ok. I'm afraid dust and etc will enter into the screen and damage is later. Can i fix this problem ? Do i need to change the front case and touch screen? The unit is working perfectly alright. Just little worried. I'm going to bring it to HP next month for checking.

How strange...I've never heard about anything like that happening before, but I can't quite figure out your photo to understand what I'm seeing. If it's under warranty, give HP a call and get it exchanged.

I can't quite figure out your photo to understand what I'm seeing.

It took me about five minutes to work out what that picture was as well. It's actually taken from the top down - there's quite a lot of perspective in that picture. The circled bit represents the bottom edge of the screen.

shady, I've seen a couple of Pocket PCs and computer monitors with the same problem you're talking about. Usually it shouldn't be a problem, but if you're concerned, I'd contact HP to get it fixed. I'd hate to let it be a place for significant dust build-up.

Wow... took me a while to figure out the photo, too. Now that I know what it is and what I'm looking at, it's fine, though. I think the keyboard reflection was really messing with my eyes.

The gap doesn't look abnormal to me based on what I see in the photo.

sorry guys for the bad pictures. I don't know from which angle should i take it. anyway here are two more pictures. I wanted to bring it to hp for repair but i have been told that any repairs or parts replacement of external parts such as screen, case and covers will be charged even the unit is still under warranty. mine has carepaq 3 yrs warranty with it. so this problem will be considered external repair ?

another problem i'm facing is sometimes the unit will shut off by itself when operating it. i guess this is mainboard problem and need to be checked by hp. the screen's yellow tint is quite terrible from certain angle. will hp change it for me without charging me ?
