View Full Version : How do i download/dump the ROM file from my e830 UPDATED!

My first topic :-)


Hey guys.

I need to know how i can download teh whole rom from one toshiba e830 and uppload it to another. So that i can get this e830 updated with newer rom.

I have a pre sales version of the e830. I need the one from some one who has a bought e830.

ive tried that bootflasher its starts and quits so fast i cant read any menus :-(

any ne think this will work

i did a dump of mina and the dumping works


i just need a file to flash it with

do you guys think this might work to flash as they say?

Some nice guy in the fourm here sent me a backup of his e830.

I have joint the files. and tried to make that CF boot thingy.
When its done the CF can not be recognized and says it neeeds to be formated :-(

I read on another page that one has to edit with hexedit.exe on the rom file and remove and remake some files..

Any one here feel that they know how to do this kind of stuff and could help me.
