<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://www.skido.info/default.aspx' target='_blank'>http://www.skido.info/default.aspx</a><br /><br /></div><i>"Skido enables you to see and hear your speed, distance, altitude, gradient, pace and calories updated in real-time while you ski. Using Skido allows you to keep a record of your skiing performance providing a fun record of your ski adventures and a log of your skiing improvement. Your Skido data can be analysed on your phone or pda using the built-in lap and graphing functions or uploaded to your personal Skido portal page for more in-depth analysis. The development of Skido is continuing at full speed with loads of more features planned for the future."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/wey-20050313-Skido.gif" /><br /><br />Okay, this is cool! I would have loved to have this with me last winter when I was up at the slopes on a skiing trip. Although Skido has just been released, plans for an update have already begun, and if you give the <a href="http://www.skido.info/comingsoon.aspx">list</a> a read, I'm sure you'll be impressed with what will soon be on offer. More information on the product can be found at the <a href="http://www.skido.info/default.aspx">Skido website</a>.

Are they planning a version that will track my performance laying on the couch watching "The Simpsons" reruns?

I don't think we'd need GPS for that one. ;)

I love skiing and PPC's but the two do not mix. If you really want to know that data spend the money and get a sunto wrist watch.

I love the idea, and I always take my PPC with me skiing anyways. But $50 for the program?! that's rediculus. (25 pounds)
I would buy the program if it was in the $15 range.

I feel a Darwinian event being caused by this. Does it warn you about rapidly approaching trees?

Does it warn you about rapidly approaching trees?
Only if the trees have RFIDs embedded in them. ;)
