The idea seems so obvious and yet it never occurred to me until now. :| Again, this doesn't appear to be in mass production, but rest assured, I'll be counting the days until it finally is!

That's pretty cool! I may just have to pick one up.

It's a little on the long side at 140mm. There's no discussion about the weight of it either. Still this may make my 'to buy' list.

Hmmm...another way the cool guys can "share" their music in a public place with the general mass.

Outstanding.

I wonder if this would work with my phone to listen to audiobooks or music or phone calls?

Not sure if basic bluetooth is all that's needed

I'd like to know where all these "popular Bluetooth enabled audio devices such as MP3, MD, CD, PDA or PC devices are that have built in BT and support stereo audio profiles. Without that, you have to connect a BT TX box to the audio player with a wire to eliminate the wire to the speakers.

Someone posted on a BT capable MP3 player recently, but it was a flash one with a max of 512M. Are there tons of these things around? If so, where are the tons of BT stereo headphones that must be available to use with them?

ok, silly question... did you see anywhere where we could buy any of their products? I realize as mentioned earlier they are aimed at OEMs, but there were a couple of things I wouldn't mind pricing on, like the 100m Bluetooth USB dongle.

AXE :confused totally:

In the same weekly newsletter as this device was a topic about battery life. Using the BT on my PDA and the BT on this thing would kill BOTH devices' battery life. I know there are wired portable speakers available, but none have fit my liking; having a wireless speaker, although degrading to battery life, would be sweet: if it had a wired option, though, that would be even better.
