Is it just me, or are the Sponsored Articles on the front page getting out of hand? It seams that lately they are on constantly. I am for having ads but if the home page is always an ad, I might aswell just bookmark the forum and never visit the home page.

I'm not sure what you mean. The only sponsored article I see right now is the GoToMeeting article, which takes up a tiny corner of the screen. But there are three ads for it on the left hand side, and that is a little gauche (but they bought the ad slots, they should get to use them). I think it's more a case of a sponsor going a little overboard than saying the site is turning into an ad itself.

I mean the full page best games articles from clickgamer. It seams almost everyday, twice a day they are on the home page. I don't get it, they always look the same, same games and stuff. It's probably cause I check this site too often :/

I understand what you guys are saying. As a paid subscriber I choose to keep my ads turned off, but before I can login I see them. The upside to all of this is that we post new actual news items on the frontpage everyday (averaging 5 or 6 per workday) so the frontpage should always have something new for you.

i use the adblock extension for firefox *shrug*

i dont know how that works with sites and revenue from ads, but ads are out of control. the interface here after the redesign seems very cluttered to me.
