Sorry to hear that. Just make sure you don't discard any PPC software titles you may have purchased. I have a feeling you may be needing them in a year or so.

Good luck in you search for a PDA.

Jimski, the HpIpaq 4155 was my first Pocket PC. Previously, I owned a number of Palm OS Handhelds, IIIx, IIIc, Handera 330, M130, & Treo 300. Currently, I own the Zire 72 and Tungsten 5. I bought the 4155 primarily because of the Wifi. And I was not disappointed in that regard. The Ipaq 4155 has great wifi signal strength. However, when Palm came out with its Wifi Card, the 4155 basically outlived its usefulness for me. I found myself using the Zire 72 and now the Tungsten 5 much more often. I like the Palm OS much more than Pocket PC in just about every respect. Moreover, Pocket Tunes on the Palm Platform is so much better than Windows Media Player. Also, the Blazer Browser on the T5 and the Web Pro Browser on the Zire 72 is so much faster than Pocket Internet Explorer, even with PIEPLUS. Furthermore, it is so much easier to enter contact and calendar information on the Palm OS than Pocket PC.

Although my Ipaq 4155 is in great condition (I baby all my handhelds), I won't miss it one iota.

I tried Pocket PC and decided Palm OS was much better.

This is a good forum with good people.

I got 5 responses over the past 24 hours. A couple of the people offered to pay me a little more than I was asking. But I'm not running an auction here so I agreed in principle to sell the unit to the first person who contacted me via Email at the price I posted here on this forum. ($135).

In 2001, I sold my Palm IIIx to a college student in Kansas for $100 via the Palm Blvd. message boards. What was memorable about that was that the kid mailed me $100 in cash in an envelope as payment. He was very grateful. Last I heard from him in 2003, he said the unit was still working great. I sold my Handera 330 to a client in NYC over 2 years ago for $125 and that person was still using it a few months ago and was quite satisfied with it.

I tend to baby my handhelds. I use them as a businessman and not as a gamer. That is to say, I'm heavy on internet usage via Bluetooth and Wifi and contact management. I always update the OS on all my handhelds. Of course, I have photos of my family on my handhelds and I listen to my Mp3's while I'm driving after business hours.

I'm a 60's person and I view the Internet as "Logos", (in Greek, the prime means of communication of Reality).

This will be my last post on this forum since I will not possess a Pocket PC anymore.

Good Health to everyone and happy surfing and journeys.

I must admit that I was a little leery at first because it seemed to be such a great deal. However after exchanging emails with you my fears were put to rest and I am totally comfortable with engaging in this transaction with you. It is also reassuring to know that you didn't take a higher offer after we had an agreement.

As I indicated in my email, the M.O. has been purchased and will be in the mail 1st thing Monday morning.

Good luck as you go back to the Palm OS. Also, thank you for not caving in to temptation and taking a higher offer.
