At one of its locations in downtown Toronto Tuesday, the coffee retailer announced the rollout of a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) service that will operate initially in 50 outlets. That number is scheduled to increase by another 70 locations by next month."</i><br /><br />It's free until April, so for those Northern neighbors of ours who envy the Starbucks/T-Mobile HotSpot network here in the US, you've now got an alternative to take your Pocket PC out to. :) Maybe this'll jumpstart competition and encourage T-Mobile to move into the Canadian Starbucks space as well?

Looks like its pay as you go though. I kind of prefer the flat rate. I pay $19.95/mo for T-Mobile. That gets me on at all the starbucks and just about every airport terminal.

The closest Second Cup to me is in Banff, though, at a distance of ~130km.

Blah. Sure there's a lot of Second Cups around here, but why would I pay for their WiFi service, when I can go to any number of the free locations. If you're in Toronto, keep an eye peeled for WiFidel. (http://www.wifidel.com/home.html) (They have more locations than what's listed on their site.)
Of course, if you're not in Toronto, and there's no free WiFi's around then... Cool, Good job Second Cup!

Yup, Google (http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=wifi+locations+Vancouver+&btnG=Google+Search&meta=) There's some pretty nice lists in that search result. :)

Thank you for the link. Google is great, but I notice that choosing your keywords makes a big difference in results.

That was one of the sites I found. There's alot of dead sites too. I hope this one stays around for awhile.

Agreed. I'm not usually the best at finding the right search terms. My wife on the other hand, always finds the right stuff.
