California's Secretary of State is in the middle of a campaign fund fraud investigation and he just had his PDA stolen.

'Shelley's personal digital assistant device was said by employees to be one of his most prized possessions. He reportedly bragged to them so often about using it to raise $3 million in donations for his 2002 campaign for secretary of state that they came to dub it "the Palm Pilot speech." '

This could be bad for him personally. But it got me thinking. Imagine if Powell or Rice or Rumsfeld or the VP or President had a PDA that was stolen! What would/could be on it?

Let's hope he's using good security software!

PDAs and Smartphones will eventually need fingerprint technology.

Um, let's see:

Colin Powell: Four years worth of unread copies of "Fisherman's Life"

Condoleesa Rice: Six years worth of Foreign Affairs Quarterly in PDF format?

Donald Rumsfeld: Warring States and Age of Empire?

Dick Cheney" "The Man who would be King" in DivX format?

George W. Bush: "How to Win Friends and Influence People"?
