Hi All,
I am having a problem and I was hoping someone could help me out. I have an IPAQ3955 with a Navman 3450 sleeve. I have purchased PocketMap Navigator software as I am not very happy with the Navman software.
With the PocketMap software, it scans for and finds the gps receiver. It sometimes picks up 8 active satellites but there is no signal indicator or signal bars. I have let the car sit in an open parking lot with a clear shot at the sky for over an hour. Still can not get an signal bars.
If I switch over to the Navman software, it gets a fix in two minutes. I have gone through all the troubleshooting and FAQ's on the PocketMap and Navman sites, followed all the steps in the PocketMap manual to no avail. I have sent off e mails to the respective companies support sites and am awaiting a reply.
I will put the specifics at the end of this post if it can help anyone. Any help you can provide me with will be greatly appreciated.
