I tried to do a search on this before I posted but I couldn't find the search feature for this forum... where did it go? Is it really gone or am I just going blind?
Anyway, I recently went to exchange my HP rx3700 for a new one because the touch screen quit working.... even after a hard reset.
The next day on my way back to Circuit City to exchange the bad unit I stopped at Micro Center. I just happened to go buy the PPC area and noticed that the HP rx3700 they had on display had the (TAP THE SCREEN TO SET UP YOUR POCKET PC) displayed. I picked it up tapped on the screen and guess what? The touch screen wouldn't work... even after a hard reset!
After I had bought my 50 Verbatim DVD+R for $19.95 (great price!) :D from Micro Center I proceeded to Circuit City to exchange the HP rx3700 that I had just got the day before... "No problem sir... we'll give you a new one". Well... the new unit worked fine... for one week and tonight, you guessed it... the touch screen went bad.
I would think that this is something that I caused... except the rx3700 at Micro Center had the same problem.
Anyone else know anything about this? :?
