View Full Version : The Paris Post

It's just wrong for private stuff like this to be posted. Just like it's wrong for that guy that was supposed to be President Bush's friend to post their private conversations. Paris isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but there is nothing stupid about keeping phone and email information in your private phone. If someone hacked T-Mobile or her phone, the are violating federal law and they need to be punished as hard as the law will allow.

Posting this news piece is also of questionable integrity as it just perpetuates the story and encourages others to lie, cheat and steal. Sorry, but sometimes the facts are hard to take. Shame Ed, shame!

Hey Mike, I posted it as a news item, and it is a news item as many of us here are on the T-Mobile network.

It isn't like I was given a script from someone, like, oh say SPRINT PCS, and posted it in full, verbatim from the company and then pretended it was a full impartial review or anything. (http://www.wessalmon.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=10175&highlight=sprint#10175)

The security breach is news, the details of who's numbers and such are private and should not be published. You are in fact aiding the exposure of illegally obtained private information. All I supposedly did was post a piece that my BOSS -- the guy that owned the web site -- told me to post on the front page of the site. I often got reviews and such from Denny, Rick and Dave that I was told to "get posted" word for word. Just the fact that you bring Salmon and the Salmonites into this indicates that your judgement is suspect.

But, none of your shucking and jiving is going to change the fact that your post include details that aid and perpetuate the illegal nature of the hacking. Sorry you have try to make me feel bad to justify your behavior.

Also, maybe you should start reading some of that "ridiculously large 118MB library of Laridian books (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/index.php?action=expand,37744)" that that you have on your 512 MB SD card. Then, you'd know that posting private information is wrong, but posting what may have been a SPRINT-written review isn't. I won't have to answer to God for my article at PDABuzz, but you will for yours.

Sorry if the facts bother you.

Please show me the information in my post that exposes the data.

STOP! Just STOP right there! You sound like a little whinny kid tattling on everyone. The fact is that if this was Jane Shmoe's phone that was hacked nobody would care. Nope, not me either. What makes it news is it was Ms. Hilton's phone. That fact, and the added celeb's who were in her phone, make it news. Do you think the Feds would investigate if my phone was hacked? Me, I don't have to worry about it, I'm a nobody. You, you better keep your phone close, you wouldn't want anyone to jeapardize your address book and find out how to contact Moses, Jesus, and God then go posting it on the Internet.

Mike, your statements are very flawed. In no way has Ed widely publicized the contact details of the victims involved in this event. He was just posting a standard news item about it. It is no different to any other media network out there posting on it. And I don't see other people complaining about other media networks now, do I? Wake up Mike, and stop whining.

Ahh, now I remember. The new name didn't ring a bell, but the picture on your site did. You're the guy who took over at PDABuzz after Wes was unjustly canned, ripping the heart and soul out of what had been a good site. I quit visiting after that. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :D

Oy, I never saw a front page post become such a candidate for HoF&S so quickly with tangents upon tangents.

But at least I feel safe knowing that when I saw celebrities in those commercials with Sidekicks, I know they weren't faking. Celebrities actually use it.
