https://shop.orange.nl/ontdek.asp

Sometimes it's way cool to live in The Netherlands. Like when Orange is releasing the SPV M500, or their version of the HTC Magician a.k.a. iMate Jam. A lot has been said about this device, so I won't repeat the specs. Orange has decided to don't do a "me too", but go with a different look for the same device. So soon I'll be able to get a SPV M500 with a nice anthracite look, and a slightly different layout. As I said: way cool!

I know the Ipod is supposed to be overrated, but round buttons and a lighter colour (more ipod-like) really suits this phone better.

But it does color-coordinate nicely with my black & grey laptop :D

Such minor differences, yet the M500 looks much better. The JAM has always looked very plain, or unfinished....I think.

I still like the JAM better though -- white/silver has more contrast than grey/grey.

Grey/chrome would have worked well...but chrome buttons fade and rub off over time. Unless they make it out of aluminum or something.

Both designs look good to me (although I prefer the original iPODish look more... 8) er). Simple on the outside powerful on the inside. That is how all devices should be IMO.

Same here ... I've always been a fan of the Mac-like look and the I-Mate Jam has that feel :)

I think the M500 looks far better.

The Jam looks like someone forgot to paint it. The indentation around the M500's buttons also makes it look more finished.

A vote for the M500, though they both look pretty good.

I could go for either of them (if they were available to actually try out from a store in the U.S.).

Hmmm... Actually would consider it now with the new updated look...The current colors and button are ugly as h3ll. And yes, the Ipod is EXTREMELY overated...All IMHO of course.

Put me down for the updated looks of the M500 as well.

I just wish we could get it here in Australia...

Describing any Apple product as overrated is redundant IMO. All their products are overhyped to oblivion... :devilboy:

What's the point? Some jerk in New York would jam you expensive new toy anyways by the sound of the feedback (see the article today) :D

They are putting form fitting stickers on the 02 XDA mini (special upgrade) in Hong Kong that cover the whole case front and back and sides in a black and off-black checker pattern that looks a bit like the Louis Vuitton patter. Now that looks real cool.

Luckily I'm not in New York! :D

I really don't like that other style. Its looks weird and really blocky. They Dpad doesn't look to good either.

I love the look of the my XDA Mini thats been debranded!
