Well believe it or not, out there is a reseller that refused to distribute Tweaks2k2 .NET Lite :| 8O pushing me to give the exclusivity to the competition!

That´s the idea Jonathon (you can install the Lite because it wont overwrite the full version you have ;))

I can't find that either. But when you install the lite version, you can see which hacks you are missing. They are "greyed out".

Frank....Kudos for your release of the Lite version. I have been looking to make WordLogic my default input method, so I installed the Lite version (on SD card). Realized that I would need the full version so I downlaoded the trial and installed it on my SD card. Changed the default input to WordLogic, but now I am having LOTS of issues. From the Today screen, selcting Programs won't bring anything up. Neither will File Explorer. I elected to remove Tweaks and then soft reset. Still can't access Programs or Explorer. And the icing on the cake is that I back up daily.....Well, I can't get to my back up on my SD card without File Explorer.

That´s a very old trick and may be a newer version of wordlogic has been released that I don´t know about it. Please, contact me using my email and I´ll help you with this issue.

for those following this thread I found what was the problem. No changes are needed in Tweaks2k2. I´ll post later a little bit more of information.

ctitanic, I know that it's free and that anyone can install it, I just thought if I had a question that could be answered easily instead of me having to go through the download, installation, testing and now uninstallation it would much more appreciated.

Also FYI - I just installed it - and NO it doesn't allow you to use the Brute Force feature on the lite version.

They disabled too many functions and make this lite version completely useless. It's not even worth the space it occupies. I uninstalled it right away.

there are 44 registry hacks for free. Look around yourself and try to find somebody giving you anything for free ;)

You may not find those hacks useful but I´m sure that other do. 8)

Some just want everything for nothing. I rather enjoy doing my hacks by hand (it keeps me looking for new ones :) )... Or maybe I'm jusy crazy. In either case those of you who want someone else to do the work for you should be glad you got something for nothing. $15.50 isn't a lot for hacking your registry w/o risk.

You must admit though, people would rather find out if the program they're downloading will do what they want before they install it. I'm not knocking the idea of having all the features listed, albeit disabled, in the Lite version, but you'd probably make a lot of people happy with a complete list of what the program does, and what's disabled in the lite version.

This is what I was trying to get at earlier. I think it's more 'open' to have a list of what the program does and don't do. Sure it's free, but I don't install free programs on my PPC just to see what it does. :wink:

I think more folks would download this if there was a full list available.

I personally think that Tweaks2K is a great program and this is a free way of checking much of it out. Completely useless? Not even close! :twisted:
