Reassigning Com Port for Bluetooth Activesync

Where does Active sync get it's list of com ports and how can I reassign them? When I open connection settings in AS I see Com 1 and Com 4 only. The problem is my BT is assigned com 17 (why that high?). Also, how can I reassign my BT com and/or how can I make AS see com 17?

Far away of being the expert in BT matter, I would say that you need to set the COM on your PDA according to your laptop (or whatever pc).

On your PC, if you go in your BT advance configuration/ local service tab, you should see under service name "Active Sync", and the last colum show the COM number it is using. Set it the same number on your PDA.
