Problem removing software

I recently installed some software that said "written for a previous version of pock pc" or something.

For some reason, I cannot remove it as whenever I go to /Start/Settings my pocket pc does a soft reset!

Anyone had this sort of problem before? Is there another way I can get to the "remove programs" application?

If all else fails I could do a hard reset but I want to know if there is anything else I can do.

I am running pocket pc 2003 on an imate PDA2K.

Yes, through ActiveSync on your desktop. Go to Tools, Add/Remove Programs...

Are you removing the application because of the message?

I am trying to remove Quicknotes. It was only when I tried to remove it on the device that I got the error on Settings.

I can't access any settings as the phone reboots as soon as I select it from the Start menu.
