A friend of mine just purchased a ipaq. He owns a small business and would like to access his Microsoft Access invoices via his pocket PC. He asked me if there was Pocket Access. I told him no. What program would you recommend for my friend to use his Access files?

You are not going to find an app that will run an Access database application, but there are several that can make use of the database's tables. It would require a little bit of work on the PPC to link the tables on the device so they return meaningful relational data. I have found SprintDB Pro to work well and there is a version that can print. The tables are the pieces that will sync between the PPC and the desktop Access database while the database applications as a whole will not.

And you are right; there is no Pocket Access the runs on the Windows Mobile/PocketPC OS.

SprintDB does give you an amazingly large subset of Access functionality. You will have to recreate your front end, though (forms, queries & table links).
